If the seal is pressed completely through the wax so that no wax remains without being impressed by the seal, then it becomes indistinguishably one with the seal. Similarly the soul becomes completely united with God.

Our life is a different chapter every day — depending on your perspective. Sometimes our chapters last longer than we anticipate. For certain parts of our life, we want tips to add to our chapter so we can start writing the next one. For us, tips has the potential to make our life easier.

One thing to remember — no matter what chapter of life you are in — good or bad; don’t let people press you!

Don’t allow the pressures of the world define you!

pressed

When you write on that one sheet of paper it creates an imprint on the paper below.

The writing is pressed to the next sheet with the hardness of each stroke. The harder you write, the more the writing is pressed to the other pages below. All you need is a pencil to expose the writing on the other pages.

We are all that pressed paper.

Release.

tips to press on

1. Wake up 30 minutes early everyday. Sometimes, this is the only alone time you will have all day. This is a time for prayer and supplication, reflection, and to remind yourself and focus on the priorities of the day – nothing extra, nothing else. Spend some time with YOU.

2. Leaving and Going. You ever notice that when you get in your car you feel rushed – the pressure of getting to your destination? Sit in your car for a minute before driving off. In that minute, find your favorite radio station, choose your musical app on your phone, put on your seatbelt and just breathe. OR, just sit in the silence before you start your car. That minute is not going to make you late – heck it just may save your life.

3. Write. How much time do you spend reflecting on your day? You will be amazed at the power of journaling. Writing at the beginning, the middle, or the end of the day. The time of day doesn’t matter. Write how you feel, what you are thinking, what you want to do, anything you want.

Press those pages with YOUR life!

Whether you write in a regular journal, a prayer journal, or on your phone – write. Habakkuh 2:2 says, “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.

Let that pressed paper be YOU, your thoughts and feelings that leave an imprint of God’s grace, mercy, and blessing on your life so others can see Him in you.

Leave an imprint on the world, not on you and remember to prioritize your life!

xoxo, Natashia
