Being an only child opened up a world of creativity for me. I have fond memories of hanging out at the local rec center with my mom, diving into arts and crafts, and just letting our imaginations run wild. As I grew up, that creative spark found its way into a deep love for poetry, reading, and writing. English language arts captured my heart in school, and it led me to teach elementary English for fourteen years. These days, I’ve stepped into the role of an Assistant Principal, where I get to support and cheer on teachers as they navigate their own professional paths.

Now, juggling life as a wife, mom of three, and an administrator, I’ll be honest, finding balance is still a work in progress. My to-do list and I are in a constant dance. But, through the whirlwind of daily life, making time for my family is something I won’t compromise on. They’re my heart, my passion. In this blog, I’m all about sharing our life stories— the ups, the downs, and everything in between, all from a place that’s real and relatable.

When I decided to create this blog, I saw it as my way of giving back. Sure, I might not have millions to give away (though, hey, a girl can dream, right?), but what I do have is this space. A space where I can spread a little hope, a little encouragement, knowing that somewhere out there, someone might just need to hear that they’ve got a secret cheerleader in their corner, cheering them on through life’s journey
